4 bedroom Villa, close to Spa Floresta and Gymnasium

This older type 4 bedroom villa has been lovingly furnished as a "home" and offers a high standard of comfortable accommodation to guests and at a reasonable price.
It is located with views over the 18th green at Parque da Floresta and towards the sea at Salema. The Parque da Floresta Golf and Leisure Resort is an ideal base for a family holiday, being halfway between the bustling city of Lagos to the east and the ancient fishing port of Sagres and Cape Saint Vincent to the west. The Resort is part of the Costa Vicentina Nature Reserve which supports local flora and fauna and guided walks are available.

Guests staying at the villa are entitled to a concessionary discount of 40% on the golf green fees. The resorts other facilities, two bowling greens, four tennis courts, outdoor heated pool and children's pool are also available, but at local cost. The Spa Floresta Health & Beauty complex and gymnasium are literally at the bottom of the drive and the golf reception, golf course and driving range are five minutes walk.

Horse Riding is available at the nearby Tiffany's Riding stable near the village of Almadena where they cater for all levels of ability.
There is a modern supermarket and petrol station in the nearby village of Budens, which is a five minute car ride away and fresh bread is available there every morning. Both the supermarket and the petrol station are open seven days a week until late. There are many restaurants in nearby Salema and the complex has several snack bars, an Italian bistro and a silver service restaurant, in fact, everything you need for a relaxing holiday to suit all ages

The Villa

The entrance hallway opens out into a large open plan L shaped living / dining room which is comfortably furnished with 2 sofas ( a 3 seater and a 2 seater) and an armchair. There is a fully equipped bar and fridge in one corner ( guests are requested to replace the empties !!) , and the villa has satellite television which receives the free to air channels. There is also a video, CD/Radio and a wood burning fire for colder evenings. Two sets of patio doors lead out on to the upper breakfast terrace, furnished with a table and chairs, where one can enjoy magnificent views out over the golf course towards the sea.
The dining area has a large dining table and chairs to accommodate up to 10 people and two further sets of patio doors; these doors open out on to the glassed in conservatory which is furnished with a wicker table and chairs.

The kitchen is fully fitted with modern units, an electric hob and oven, dishwasher and microwave with ample crockery, glassware and cutlery for indoor or outdoor living. The utility room, which is attached to the kitchen houses a fridge/freezer, a washing machine, an iron and ironing board.

Also on the first floor is a small cloakroom and a walk in cupboard for the storage of golf clubs, luggage etc. A curved staircase leads down from the living room to the bedrooms which are all on the ground floor.

Bedrooms
Three of the four bedrooms are fitted with twin beds and the principal bedroom has an en-suite full bathroom with an integral shower over the bath. The fourth bedroom is furnished with two sets of bunk beds and can sleep 4 people; this too has an en-suite bathroom. The other two twin bedrooms share a double bathroom with bath/shower, walk in shower, twin wash hand basins, bidet and WC.
All four bedrooms have ample wardrobe space.

Each bedroom has its own private terrace, with table and chairs and steps leading down to the villa's private pool, ( approx. 10m x 5m), sun terrace and barbecue.

Linen and towels, including beach towels are all provided. Maid service is twice weekly and is included in the rental price

The Garden and Pool

The house is surrounded by mature private gardens with plenty of terraced areas for relaxing and enjoying the superb views. There is a built in charcoal barbecue and table and chairs for outside dining on warm summer evenings.
Sun loungers and sun umbrellas are provided and the pool is cleaned weekly.

Getting There

The nearest international airport is Faro and flights arrive from most British airports every day during the summer. Hire cars can be collected outside the airport building and the journey from Faro to Parque da Floresta takes 45 minutes along the A22 motorway to Lagos and from there on the EN 125 to the resort.

Please telephone or email to confirm availability. Change over days are flexible and we will always try to fit in with guests requirements. A non refundable deposit of 20% is required to confirm a booking and the balance becomes due 6 weeks prior to the beginning of the holiday

Please note:- we are able to accommodate larger groups by combining Casa Floret with Casa Ben or Casa Pieter.

Bowling Green	Resort Pool	Spa and bistro

Parque da Floresta has many other attractions besides the 18 hole championship golf course, for which guests staying at the villa are entitled to a concessionary 40% discount on the green fees. There are two bowling greens, four tennis courts, an outdoor heated pool, childrens' pool and gymnasium also available, all at local cost.

Tennis: A resident coach will give group or individual tennis lessons and there is a hotly contested weekly competition for different age groups of children.

The Childrens Fun club, has supervised activities for all ages and is available to the children of guests during the summer and daily or weekly tickets can be bought.

The Spa offers a wide variety of Health and Beauty treatments for those who fancy a spot of pampering, including half day or whole day packages if you really want to push the boat out and have a top to toe treatment.

Restaurants:- there are several restaurants on the resort providing a variety of choice, from Á La Carte to snacks at the Spike Bar, plus the Italian restaurant has a "takeaway" option. There are also several good restaurants in the village of Budens, a 2 minute car ride away.
