Villa Sete Campainhas is a four bedroom villa, located on phase 2 of the Parque da Floresta Resort and is conveniently situated within walking distance of the golf clubhouse, the restaurant, the gymnasium, bowling greens, driving range and Spa Floresta, the Health & Beauty complex. Guests are entitled to 40% discount on the golf green fees.
The closest beaches are Boca do Rio, beautiful but with no facilities, and Salema, which is busy in the summer but boasts a safe, sandy beach with plenty of beach bars and restaurants.
The nearest modern supermarket is Intermarché in Budens, which is a short drive away and also has a petrol station. Fresh bread can be bought from there every morning and both the supermarket and the petrol station are open seven days a week until late.

The villa has been built in an inverted L shape, with a driveway sloping down from the road. On entering the house there is a hallway with the living room / dining room and the kitchen off to the left and the four bedrooms off to the right each on an ascending different level and each with it's own small terrace. There is also a roof terrace for more private sunbathing.

The living room, which can be accessed directly from either the kitchen or the hallway is furnished with comfortable sofas, dining table and chairs and has satellite television and DVD player. There are three sets of patio doors leading out to the covered terrace which is equipped with table and chairs for outside dining.

The Kitchen

The kitchen has fitted units and is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave, gas hob and electric cooker etc.

The Bedrooms

There are four bedrooms, of which two have en-suite bathrooms, (with integral shower units). All have fitted wardrobes and patio doors out on to their own individual small terrace. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and the other three bedrooms are furnished with twins. There is a further full bathroom with integral shower and a small cloakroom off the hallway.

The Pool & Garden

The large rectangular pool has the benefit of the sun throughout the summer, from early morning to late evening, while the extensive sun terrace is sheltered from the wind by the position of the house. The pool can be heated for guests at extra cost, ( See table below) Sun loungers and an umbrella are provided for guests and there is a built in barbecue for summer evenings. Car parking is within the grounds.

Other Information

The villa has electric radiators plus a wood burning fire in the lounge for cooler Spring and Autumn evenings when the temperature can be quite chilly.
There is ample parking space provided and the villa has a small safe for the security of guests.

All linen and towels, including beach towels, are provided. Maid service and towel changes twice a week, plus a linen change at the end of the first week are included in the price.

Rental Prices and Booking : - Prices are per week and are shown in sterling.

Please telephone or email to confirm availability. Change over days are flexible and we will always try to fit in with guests requirements. A non refundable deposit of 20% is required to confirm a booking and the balance becomes due 6 weeks prior to the beginning of the holiday.

The Resort and Local Amenities

Parque da Floresta has many other attractions besides the 18 hole championship golf course, for which guests staying at the villa are entitled to a concessionary 40% discount on the green fees. There are two bowling greens, four tennis courts, an outdoor heated pool, childrens' pool and gymnasium also available, all at local cost.

Tennis: A resident coach will give group or individual tennis lessons and there is a hotly contested weekly competition for different age groups of children.

The Childrens Fun club, has supervised activities for all ages and is available to the children of guests during the summer and daily or weekly tickets can be bought.

The Spa offers a wide variety of Health and Beauty treatments for those who fancy a spot of pampering, including half day or whole day packages if you really want to push the boat out and have a top to toe treatment.

Restaurants:- there are several restaurants on the resort providing a variety of choice, from Á La Carte to snacks at the Spike Bar, plus the Italian restaurant has a "takeaway" option. There are also several good restaurants in the village of Budens, a 2 minute car ride away.

Horse Riding is available at the nearby Tiffany's Riding stable near the village of Almadena where they cater for all levels of ability.

Supermarkets and Petrol Stations:- There is a modern supermarket and petrol station, (Ecomarché) in the nearby village of Budens, and fresh bread is available there every morning. Both the supermarket and the petrol station are open seven days a week until late. Several larger supermarkets can be found in Lagos.

Getting There

The nearest international airport is Faro and flights arrive from most British airports every day during the summer. Hire cars can be collected outside the airport building and the journey from Faro to Parque da Floresta takes 45 minutes along the A22 motorway to Lagos and from there on the EN 125 to the resort.
